Christopher Perry, DVM
Dr. Perry has had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian since his early childhood years in Georgia. Prior to attending the University of Georgia for his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree, Dr. Perry held a wide range of animal related jobs from working in kennels, to milking dairy cows, and working in an equine reproduction laboratory. Despite this wide range of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, Dr. Perry still holds dogs and cats as his favorites. This love of companion animals propelled him to complete advanced training during a one year emergency internship. This training enhanced Dr. Perry’s medical skills as well as his commitment to delivering the best in patient care. Following his internship, Dr. Perry spent almost two years in general practice in Virginia before returning to Chattanooga.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Perry and his Border Collie mix named Zoe are most likely to be found enjoying the many outdoor activities that Chattanooga has to offer. Dr. Perry is also an avid traveler. In fact, his enthusiasm for travel led him to study veterinary medicine abroad in Brazil while obtaining his DVM degree.
