Alyssa Jones

Alyssa is a veterinary technician, surgical technician, and an animal behavior specialist! She has over seven years of experience in the veterinary field and is currently studying veterinary technology. She has a wide range of experience, including working with exotic animals at wildlife rehabilitation centers, and working with penguins, eagles, hawks, red wolves, bobcats, and foxes at the Tennessee Aquarium. 

Alyssa has always had a strong passion for animals and has always had a connection to misunderstood patients. She chose to work in the veterinary industry to help comfort and support animals in their time of need. Alyssa believes that no matter how difficult or misunderstood an animal may be, they always deserve a chance to be the best they can be.  Alyssa lives with her wonderful husband and son, a rescue pit bull named Luna, and a sassy kitty named Stormy.
