| Kendra
Kendra is our wonderful Practice Manager here at Shallowford Animal Hospital. She has been working in the Veterinary Industry since she was 17 years old, starting out as a Kennel Assistant and working her way up to Technician and now Practice Manager. Kendra lives in the area with her four dogs Jack, Pogo, Rudy and Ditto along with two cats, Pyewachet and Mugen. When not keeping the clinic running she enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, reading, and playing video and board games.

She has worked in various roles in the veterinary field since 2005. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of California, Davis in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. | ![]() |
| Darrell
Having spent 3 years at McKamey Animal Center working in Shelter Medicine, Darrell joined the team at Shallowford Animal Hospital and is our Technician Team Leader. He is married with 2 children and has 2 dogs including a Corgi mix named Daemon. | ![]() |
| Megan
Megan joined the Shallowford team in 2017. She is currently studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She spends her free time reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her own animals, Twig (dog), Dapper (cat) and Chicken (cat). | Kelsey
Kelsey joins our team after getting her associates in Applied Science with a major in Veterinary Technology from Chattanooga State Community College. She has always wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was a child. The idea of helping animals has always been her passion. Kelsey shares her home with one cat named Fatso, and one Australian Cattle Dog named Dixie. When she isn’t at work, she loves hiking and reading! | ![]() |

Carolina is one of our amazing Veterinary Technician Assistants here at Shallowford! She has been in the Veterinary field for over 4 yrs. and plans on pursuing her Veterinary Technician License soon. Carolina lives in GA with her husband, son, their 4 dogs and 1 cat. When not taking care of pets, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and building miniature dollhouses. | ![]() |

Jillian has a bachelor’s degree in legal assistant studies and previously worked as a paralegal for 11 years. She is currently seeking her Veterinary Technician associate degree and is Fear Free Certified. Jillian lives with her husband and 9 chaotic cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading Jane Austen, crafting, watching horror movies, searching for Sasquatch, and celebrating Halloween year-round. | ![]() |

Wendy has worked in the veterinary field for over 22 years, 14 of those years have been here at Shallowford Animal Hospital. Her current role is veterinary assistant. In 2019, Wendy left Shallowford to purse a different career path. After two short years, she realized that veterinary medicine is where God wanted her to be. She has a passion for the industry and the clients she serves. | ![]() |
| Keisha
Keisha is one of our wonderful Veterinary Assistants here at Shallowford! She joins us after taking a hiatus from the veterinary filed for a few years. Keisha is a native of Rome, GA and received her Veterinary Assistant Certificate in 2001 from PCDI of Atlanta, GA. When not helping animals, Keisha likes to spend time with her daughter and their 2 dogs, a Shih Tzu named Kami & a Chihuahua named Lily! She also likes to tap into her creative side by making beautiful flower arrangements! When asked why she works in the Veterinary Industry she says, “It is a very rewarding line of work!”. | |

Becca joined our Veterinary Assistant Team with over 23 years of experience! She married her Highschool best friend & together they share their home with 3 two-legged kids & 3 four-legged kids named Moro, Baxter & Arlo. When not at work or taking care of the household, Becca enjoys going to the beach, paddleboarding & gardening. | |

Mary is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She graduated with her Associate of Arts degree & has been working in the Veterinary industry for 9 years now! She grew up loving animals, but wasn’t allowed to have any, so she decided a job in Vet Med would be the best way to get her “fix”. She’s had the opportunity to see her patients’ lives improve, surpass great obstacles & it has been the greatest joy of her life. She can’t imagine doing anything else! Mary lives at home a crazy, fluffy Husky named Rowan, an equally as fluffy Papillon named Charlotte & 2 cats named Rose & Astrid that love to tear everything up. When not helping animals Mary enjoys reading, hiking, puzzles, anime, & movie watching! | ![]() |
| Lilly
Lilly is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science with a Minor in Wildlife & Fisheries. As a kid, Lilly’s dream job was to be a Zookeeper. Lilly has been in the Vet Med industry since January of 2023. When asked why she wants to work in the industry she said, “I have always wanted to work with animals.” Lilly lives with her Maltese Mix Bella, affectionately called, “Beef”. Kayla joined the Shallowford team in 2024. She is enrolled in college to obtain her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been in the Veterinary field for over two years. She shares her home with her husband and her three cats, Perey, Wenny and Aerith. She enjoys attending concerts, reading and PC gaming. | ![]() |

Nancy is one of our resident groomers here at Shallowford Animal Hospital. She has over 25 years of grooming experience and is certified by the National Dog Groomers Association. Nancy attends continuing education seminars frequently to keep her knowledge up to date. She enjoys gardening and taking walks with her chihuahua named Tiny. | ![]() |
| Ashley
Ashley joins Shallowford after attending ABC grooming school and continued her training after school by working with a very talented groomer in Seal Beach, CA. Ashley has always been drawn to animals, so it was an easy decision to make a life doing what she loves the most. Ashely shares her home with her husband, two daughters, and a cat named Mr. Ploppers. When not grooming, she enjoys camping, baking, hiking, Disney vacations, softball, and being with family! | ![]() |
